The focus was to act on the insight the project has granted thus far to create the best solution for care of patients\u00a0with colorectal cancer. Professor\u00a0Ismail G\u00f6genur (CSS)\u00a0noted in his welcome speech that \u201dhaving the cross institutional insight is vital\u201d.<\/p>\n
Samuel Wiqvist and Martin H\u00f8yer Rose from CSS as well as Espen Enerly from CNR gave a status of the work with R1 and \u20181-year mortality\u2019 in Denmark and Norway. Here it was discussed how much over-treatment we can tolerate when using the R1 model, since over-treatment also can cause critical complications for the patients.<\/p>\n
In addition to evaluating the progress of the project, the agenda included two workshops with the focus on how to get the best outcome with the time left in the research project:<\/p>\n
