Today’s program featured a review of the lessons learned and results delivered by the consortium after three years of cross-border and interdisciplinary collaboration.

The agenda included an overview of the project’s main deliverables and outcomes:

  • Insights on building and running a federated learning model on Danish and Norwegian Colorectal Cancer Data
  • Breaking data with Federated Learning
  • Treating advanced colorectal cancers in Norway, before and after FLORENCE
  • Simulated MDT decisions with a machine-learning decision-support tool in Denmark and Norway
  • Advancing cancer registries through AI collaboration
  • Federated learning: Governance and compliance
  • Handling sensitive data in health research – experiences, findings, challenges and recommendations (Søren Jensen from Computerome)
  • Privacy-Preserving Federated Learning with Fairness, Robustness, and Interpretability

As part of the project, the consortium has developed a Nordic Strategy and Action Plan.
